I found long distance rural driving in an EV is great. PlugShare shows you where the EV chargers are located in each town and you can filter PlugShare to show accommodation to stay at overnight that offer EV chargers on site.
Having RFID cards makes charging easy as you just tap and it starts, or you can use the EV Charging App from each network provider.
