The maximum temperature inside my Tesla frunk during summer was 51.6°C. That was during a heatwave in Sydney, where the car was parked in the sun on the street all day when the outside air temperature reached 44°C.
The maximum temperature inside my Tesla glovebox was 53°C. That was during a heatwave in Sydney, where the car was parked in the sun on the street all day when the outside air temperature reached 40°C and temperature inside the car went to 73°C.
The glovebox also went to 53°C in January 2026, during days of 43 degrees .
My car is a standard white 3 LR Dual Motor AWD, (no tints, coatings or wraps etc).
