I found long distance rural driving in an EV is really easy.
I prefer to charge where I stop, rather than stop somewhere to charge, so I tend to top up when I stop for coffee or a meal if there is a charger available.
Having RFID cards with you makes charging easy, as you just tap the charger with your RFID Card and it starts, or you can use the EV Charging App from each network provider.
PlugShare shows you where the EV chargers are located in each town. If you prefer to charge at your accommodation, you can filter PlugShare to show accommodation with EV chargers on site. To see all accommodation with EV chargers, adjust your filters to turn “Hide Restricted Access” off and “Lodging” on as shown in the right side of the image below.
